Room was excellent, large and well equipped. Very close 6 wineries, within walking distance. Plenty of eating choices but most only by driving to. The nearby Hunter Valley gardens were very impressive. The hotel gave a discount to guests to visit the gardens.
Would not accommodate bookings requiring an early checkin.
Quiet and well located in centre of wineries of Hunter Valley.
I was disappointed with the state of the common areas... More cleaning required (walkways dirty and litter around). Also the dining room floor was dirty every morning. What does it take to run the vacuum cleaner over the floor at the end of the day...? Also staff were not very friendly...all typically Australian...!
The location in the vineyards.
We arrived at 2:45pm and our room was not ready. That was fine as we left to visit friends and returned around 5:30pm. We were given tag for our room 102 only to find when we opened the door that the room was already occupied. We returned to reception for another room to find we would be upgraded to 801 but again had to wait for the room to be serviced. A complemently drink was given while we waited. The room was ready some 15minutes later and a complementry breakfast card was given for the inconvenience. The upgraded room was lovely however the globe in the bedlight had failed and the double power point under microwave the right one was faulty. It failed to work. The shower had mildew at base. Breakfast was spoilt by the large plates not being heated to maintain warmth to the hot food. Consequently our meal was cold before we had finished. Tarrif $269 for basic room was too high.
general maintenance slipping (gutters need cleaning, cobwebs, leaking cisterns...)
The atmosphere was great, gardens beautiful, was wonderful and refreshing
The only thing was the restrauant, was very average in regards to the price we are paying.
Location was excellwnt
I had a great stay for one night. The studio was lovely and it was nice to have a private balcony. It is also within walking distance of the Hunter Valley gardens and village shops from which I did a lot of Christmas shopping.
The only small negative would have been the smell of cleaner on arrival. Maybe the room could be aired beforehand? I opened the balcony door and that helped.
Location to the Hunter Valley Gardens, the excellent service by friendly staff. Excellent meals and clean room.
Terrible experience as they charge me twice for Internet while I was unable to uae that and I believe it is included in the package
the location, friendly staff, surrounding vineyards and general resort decor provided the perfect setting for a few days away.
I found it to be central to the vineyards and the entertainment in the area. A nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the facilities excellent The fact that the hotel was within walking distance to the Hunter Valley Gardens was excellent
Room was very comfortable, dinning room, food & service excellant
ants & cockroaches in the bathroom
